A June Checklist
My goals for the new month: dinner parties, homemade lemonade and finding quiet rituals.
Good Morning lovely reader,
How are you? Welcome to the month of June. It’s a month of in-betweens. Still touched by spring’s gentle rhythm, yet leaning into the spontaneity of summer. With a sprinkling of showers and unexpected blustery winds here in England. June is full of soft promises. Barefoot dinners in the garden, rosé glasses clinking at golden hour, picnics among friends in the long grass and lunches that spill into dinners until the sun sets across the horizon.
The June Checklist.
Here is my monthly checklist, things I want to do more of and new things to try for the month of June.
Seasonal Living
Visit our local farmers market for early summer produce (strawberries, courgettes, broad beans)
Refresh our house with a seasonal deep clean and organise. Clear out cupboards of any unwanted things to donate or rubbish, swap heavy throws for linen and bring in fresh flowers and scents of summer.
Press flowers or herbs from the garden to dry for photo frames.
Create a new summer playlist for at home.
In the Kitchen
Make a big batch of homemade lemonade
Host an alfresco dinner for the girls - pretty table cloth, seasonal dishes, the scent of rose candles and of course all the free flowing rosé.
Body & Mind
Enjoy an hour of reading books before I sleep.
Start my mornings with a barefoot walk around the garden, especially on those balmy warm days.
The half way point of the year feels like an invitation to revisit or rewrite my goals with no pressure, just clarity and direction.
Creative & Joyful
Arrange a bouquet of cut flowers from the garden.
Take an early morning trip to the beach with Basil and Jack.
Of course it’s a Monday and I couldn’t not share my Weekly Notes from this week:
PURCHASES
A fresh white bedspread for our bedroom.
A beautiful summer wedding guest dress.
A simple tank top in a pointelle fabric, beautiful!
ON MY MIND
The 90’s workouts. I can just picture my mum in our living room busting out some moves to her Jane Fonda DVD and her step box and I love it!
Charlotte’s home in Provence is the pinnacle of a romantic summer hideaway. I love stepping into her world via her grid.
The chicest robe to elevate all your mornings.
I recently discovered Bloom, a gorgeous online florist. In season flowers direct from a series of growers both in the UK and internationally. The Porcelain Peonies are perfection.
THINGS I’M LOVING
Deadheading the roses is one of my favourite therapy sessions. Walking around the garden with a glass of rosé in the evening sun, snipping and tying the climbing roses. So peaceful.
WHAT I’M EATING & DRINKING
A weekly loaf of Focaccia is my new favourite thing. Delicious with soups, my favourite sandwich a BLT, or the base of a good old avocado on toast.
You can access all of my favourite recipes for free here.
WHAT I’M PINNING

Until next time, slow down, sip something sparkly, and savour this soft, golden chapter.
With love,
